Not quite understanding what is going on....

Alright, so here's what's been going on.  I'm trying to install electricsheep on Linux Mint 12 KDE and I'm using the linux install instructions on this site.  The first part worked (the 'sudo apt-get install subversion') part, but I'm not understanding the './autogen.sh' part (for wxWidgets -- yes I've downloaded and extracted it).

Here's what I'm getting:

$ ./autogen.sh
make: build/autogen.mk: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `build/autogen.mk'.  Stop.

I've tried searching for this all over and can't find any documentation on it that is helpful.

What worked:

installing subversion

' ./configure; make ; sudo make install' (for both wxWidget and flam3)

Opening electricsheep from the terminal (it opened a window showing the video)

What did NOT work:

anything to do with './autogen.sh'

electricsheep being set as screensaver.

I suppose it is also worth mentioning that I have since uninstalled electricsheep and removed all traces of it (that I know about) from linux.  I currently have the files needed to install, but am waiting to fix this error before I do that.

(sorry for edits.... as I re-read my post I think of more information that might be helpful.)

Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind.  I got it working

Nevermind.  I got it working as my background.  So much cooler than having a screensaver.  Refer to: http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-350089.html to get electricsheep as your background.  Actually... it was fairly easy, despite there being a couple of flaws in the script from that site.
