Curious about the state of high-res sheep

I've got a bank of high-res monitors and a solid GPU, and I would love to give you money to be able to contribute to and draw from a source of high-res sheep.  The forum seems to indicate that this was pursued in the past but it seems that movement has kind of slowed.  Is there anything I can do to help get this going again?

the gold sheep are 720p and double the resolution in time.  they look amazing.

but right now all my energy is on finishing the iPad version.

not much you can do unless you are a good iOS developer :)
